Milkshake!

These little clips are from the last 2 days. You can see how red poor Cady’s eyes get when we wipe er eye bugers away for her (she’s got a blocked tear duct).

Also, I put a lot of photos of Cady being a peaceful little babygirl on here. …but some of the real fun is when she’s not peaceful. During that first week or two, Brennyn and I made some of our best memories – up together in the middle of the night trying to help Cady find that natural rhythm (which she is definitely rocking now). Good, good memories – even if there was some crying involved. I love those girls.

First Pediatrician Appointment

Cady’s first appointment went very well today. She’s up to 7lbs 6oz. She was 7lbs 1oz at birth, and dropped down to 6lbs 5oz by day 4. That’s good news, and the doc says that our little girl is in great health! We have another visit in 6 weeks. Cady behaved great at the office today, and Brennyn fed her right there in the waiting room. That was the first time she’d fed in public, and that really helps us both relax a little about taking Cady places.

Oops, I pooped the tub

A pretty busy day for Cady today. We had to go back to the hospital to get part 2 of her state-mandated test. That was a real treat. We waited forever before we were seen. Keeping her tame was a challenge.

Cady had another bath today, which may have been only a little more than routine, if not for her pooping in the tub. See below. It’s a pretty pathetic site, as her eyes are red from getting washed, AND she’s surrounded in her own feces. Don’t show that photo to child protective services.

…finally, are a pair of photos with Cady continuing to look completely bewildered when I talk to her.

Cady’s first T-storm, some playtime, and mommy’s Dr. visit

A couple of pictures from the day Cady heard her first thunderstorm…I presume. She didn’t really stir. A very important day for her meteorologist daddy.

Also a couple pics of some love time with me. I’ve now officially banned photos from that angle.

Finally, below the picture thumbnails, is a video of some “playtime” this morning before leaving for Brennyn’s doctor visit to check on how her incision is healing. It looks great!

…and please excuse the silly talk. I love that baby – and weird sounds come out of me when I play with her.
