Cady’s first appointment went very well today. She’s up to 7lbs 6oz. She was 7lbs 1oz at birth, and dropped down to 6lbs 5oz by day 4. That’s good news, and the doc says that our little girl is in great health! We have another visit in 6 weeks. Cady behaved great at the office today, and Brennyn fed her right there in the waiting room. That was the first time she’d fed in public, and that really helps us both relax a little about taking Cady places.

Oh, I thought you were talking to me, Buffy. Hmph. Just kidding! Brennyn you do look great. And Iove the way that shawl works to allow you privacy and yet the ability to feed the dumpling girl. I love seeing her little arms moving inside her blankie and her softy hair. Boy it is hard to be so far away!
And thank You, God, for giving us such a healthy, adorable baby. We are so blessed that Cady is healthy with all of the necessary parts and the un-necessary (what does an appendix do again?) as well. And to be so beautiful is icing on the cake.
