1240: Took a break from the bottle #3 for a few to watch some football. Finishing it now. Dozing again.
1255: off to a nap again. Can’t imagine this one will last as long as that first. Must eat lunch fast! (Bengals tied 7-7)
1346: Maybe I was wrong about this being a short nap. Here we are, almost an hour later, and she’s still snoozing. (Bengals winning 10-7 at the half)
1405: still napping strong…but a mild wiggle when I peeked in.
1411: arg! Bengals have lost the lead with about 5 left in the 3rd. 10-14
1441: Just peeked in again, and she’s still snoozing! Good god. She must be hibernating today to fully recover from the cold she’s just about shaken. Poor baby.
1509: Upon last peek-in, Cady is showing signs of waking up. One arm is free from the swaddle, with the other peeking out the top. The time is nearly upon me 😀
1530: and we’re back…
1556: time for bottle #4:
1606: Bottle [pretty much] finished. Time to hit the road!
1739: We have returned from The Deathstar and Best Buy…with a diaper full of love.

1845: Down for another nap [hopefully] until mommy gets home.

My goodness she is the sweetest. What smiles. Not like your grumpy face when you were little. You actually looked like one of the dwarfs (Grumpy) at times.
Great Grandpa and Great Grandma are really enjoying all those beautiful smiles. What a happy baby. Daddy you do a great job. Thanks for sending them for all of us to share. We are so proud of our baby girl and can’t wait to meet her in person. Give her some smooches from us.
Oh Cady baby I just missed you so much! After watching a baby pass at work this morning, I just couldn’t help but want to be home loving on you and daddy. We are so lucky that everything went as well as it did baby when you were born! You are our healthy girl and our miracle baby. I will never take you for granted. As exhausted as I was today after work nothing was more rewarding than coming home and giving you a bath that you absolutely loved! We played and played in the bath. When it was time to get you out of the bath tub, all I did was sit up over you and I looked at you for a moment and that lip started to come out. It began to stick further and further out and you knew your fabulous bath had come to an end. You were just beautiful and I am just so lucky to be your mommy. I showed this page to all kinds of people at work and they just thought you were so pretty. Daddy really helped me stay close to you two while I was at work. I just think about you guys all day. I had a baby today that was born at 24 weeks, the same gestation you were when we went to Hawaii and that baby’s momma had never held him. And even though he was a very sick, chronic baby, I couldn’t imagine going a whole month without holding you! So even though he was intubated, I took him out of this incubator and put him on his momma’s chest. He did so good and realized he was with his momma. It did her heart good and his little heart good too. Now that I am a momma, things are different and I know how these mommies and daddies feel about their Cady Coo’s. Thank you for inspiring me to be a better nurse through your love. I better go try to pump a bottle for you tomorrow for your second day with Daddy! You were so good for your daddy today, thank you so much. Know that he always loves you and thinks the world of you. We love you Cady!!!
She sure lights up when daddy comes in. Just wonder if she thinks that camera is attached to your face. Does she recognize you without it?
Oh, if only it were so easy, Valerie. When the camera is in front of my face, she get’s very, very serious. It’s taken some picture-taking trickery at chest-level to actually start capturing smiles on a regular basis.
I love the added pictures. Don’t shoot me…but I somehow see just the teensiest bit of me and my MOM! in Cady in the picture that looks like she is wearing something yellow…the awesome nap picture. I don’t know what it is exactly that looks like me to me but there’s something. I love it!!!
