Cady’s Aunt Lauren came to visit this weekend, which means a short date alone for Brennyn and I today (Saturday)! Should be great. We’re going to go see “The Other Guys”…though I don’t know that the movie matters.
Cady’s been tracking things well with her eyes for a little while now – but it seems much, much more intentional and reactive lately. …like she’s finally starting to actually recognize us, instead of us just liking to think she might. It’s pretty amazing.
It was really nice to have Corey home this weekend after a few days where the little miss was having mornings where she wasn’t wanting to sleep. We are beginning to think that she hasn’t had her daily 3 in a row poops and once she does she generally feels better. Today was no exception and Cady was a little irritable but seemed relieved after this poop! Wouldn’t we all feel better after a poop like that?!
Corey really enjoys waking Cady up from her naps around 5 when he gets home and she was still sleeping when she made this precious faces for us.
We had some great playtime with the sweet girl today, and she took her 2nd bottle from me. Took about 3 oz…then was just happy and awake. Good stuff.

A long video of Cady’s first bottle day. We’re gonna start working it in slowly and early, so – hopefully – the transition won’t be too jarring. Brennyn took it a little hard at first, but I’m glad she let me share in doing this for Cady. I loved it.
