Though exhausted – and thus expressionless – Cady makes time to make her rattle her new second favorite person after Brennyn. |

A pretty eventful day and a half or so around here. The remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine rode west of the Metroplex bringing heavy rain and the occasional threat of tornadoes to our area overnight and through the day today. My little rain gauge outside caught over 6″ of rain. I think Cady’s gotten a kick out of it – and actually spent a little time with me watching tornado coverage on the local news. Unfortunately, the local anchors have taught her that every tornado that can be seen is “large”.
I had a great day with Brennyn and Cady today. We really just hung around the house all day (though we did take Cady to eat with us at Razzo’s yesterday) – but it was really wonderful. …like most days are with them. It really made me think again of how lucky I am to have the opportunity to take this time off to spend with them during this time in Cady’s life. It’s worth every second.
I finally snagged a new lens or my camera a 50mm f/1.4G. Shot a few this afternoon, and I’m liking the results. The subjects might have a bit more to do with it, than the lens does though.
