Cady’s had some non-pooping issues lately. So – we have a nice post bowel-emptying photo for your enjoyment here. Then just a few other random photos, and a video of our blastoff routine. She usually likes it a little more than this video shows…but it’s still good fun. At least for me.

Cady’s getting comfortable enough with the camera to at least flash half of a smile at it without me having to get super-sneaky with her. The little booger.
She did it so FAST yesterday. Brennyn put her on her tummy…then BOOM…on to her back. There’s a video below of her doing it this afternoon (also the first time I got to see it). She’s a lot slower in the video, but it’s in the opposite direction as yesterday! Pretty cool stuff.

Cady rolled over for the first time today! Brennyn had her on her tummy early this afternoon, and she just moved her arm up and rolled right over. Brennyn couldn’t believe it. She put her on her tummy again, and…right on over again! So, Brennyn called me at work, and I hopped on video chat…and managed to catch her 3rd time rolling over! AMAZING! Brennyn then Skyped with her mom, and she pulled her little rolling over trick off again. We’re yet to actually catch it on video…but don’t think that’s for lack of trying since.
TO close out the night, we had a great Skype session with Grandma and Grandpa Pieper, and they got to see how smiley Cady is, how she loves to “stand up” (putting pretty much all of her weight on her legs now…and she LOVES it), and roll up on her side.
…it’s the little things.

Another trip to DC last week, and I couldn’t wait to get back and see my girls. Though I was able to use a little iPhone FaceTime to help stem the absence – there’s NOTHING like being home. I was greeted by plenty of love, and some freshly baked bread 🙂
