It’s gotten to be a LOT of fun to go places with Cady now that she sits up and plays at dinner. Going to sushi at our favorite spot is always extra good, because the wait staff there go crazy for her…and even try and help have her pose for pictures.
The pictures of her on the bed with a headband on are after a party we took her to for a little bit on Saturday. They were taken well after her bedtime. Doesn’t look too tired, does she?

I think Cady had a good day today. A Skype session with the Pieper’s for Great Grandma Pieper’s birthday. Dinner out at Buffalo Wild Wings for an encounter with a little girl her age. Finally, another Skype session: this time, with Grandma Clingan.

I couldn’t resist taking the sweet girl out on the lawn this afternoon for a quick few pictures. She was more-than-ready for a nap though – so, there aren’t really any smiles to be found. She used them up pretty quickly when I got home. In either case, she still looks pretty photogenic to dad.

It is insane to think this little squirt is already 7 MONTHS OLD! She’s changing SO much every day. We’re gonna have to “tie her down” (Brennyn’s words) to keep her from walking soon.
Cady finally had her “6 month” check-up last week after being canceled due to snow before, and the doc was amazed by how well the little squirrel is developing…for a 7-month old. There was one MAJOR issue though: the doctor said how much Cady looked like me again. We’re gonna have to do something about that really soon.
