More El Paso Pics and Pee

My favorite is the one from near the tub. I was holding Cady while running her bathwater. Diaper-less. I don’t think I need to fill in the rest.

Future (reading) Cady,

This is a really exciting time for mommy and daddy. You’re learning SO much so quickly. Your sign language. Youre “talking” (we think you know how and when to say “ma ma” and mommy thinks you might have said “kitty” today). Your crawling and cruising. All pretty amazing stuff. You’ll learn that your mommy and daddy go crazy over you…but we are very, very proud of you. …and now that we’ve been educated that we’ve been tracking your weight on the chubby-baby formula fed chart instead of the breast-fed baby chart, we have even realized that you’re not at tiny as we thought, and that the doctor’s reassurance that you were perfect, wasn’t insane.  I can’t wait to keep getting to know the little girl that’s becoming an individual right before my eyes. I love you, Cady.

Cady Doing Tricks for Grandma Clingan

We got into town yesterday afternoon, and Cady’s been doing her best to impress Grandma since then; showing her all of her tricks…

  • some sign language
  • spotting rats in books
  • waving
  • standing
  • giving “5”

…just general brilliance.

We also caught some cute video of her eating her first sweets – a piece of a cinnamon pizza thing from Ci-Ci’s. It’s no banana.
