Mommy, don’t know what is dumpling.

We ate Chinese food for dinner yesterday, and as part of that, we had some dumplings. Brennyn periodically encouraged Cady to “eat your dumplings” or “take a bite of the dumplings. You’ll like them.”

After quite a while of eating other parts of her dinner, and never really touching the dumplings, Cady finally looked at Brennyn after another dumpling plea and said, “mommy, don’t know what is dumpling.”

I guess we’d left that part out.

Brennyn: “This is a dumpling, Cady”

Cady: “Ohhhhhhhhhhh.”

Gahgoosh.

Brennyn and I wanted to make sure we recorded this somewhere. We thought of it last night while talking all-to-endlessly about Cady while on our vacation in the Dominican Republic.

Cady calls a motorcycle, a “gahgoosh”. …pronounced just like it looks.

You can say, “Cady, look at that motorcycle,” and she’ll follow quickly with “gahgoosh?!”
