23 Weeks Belly and the New Pink

I took yet another belly photo last night. I think Brennyn might be getting sick of it – and I was given strict orders as to what I needed to crop out of the image. Ha!

Below, is also a photo from our nursery-in-the-works. The original pink that we picked out, turned out to be too pink. …at least by one of our estimations. So, last weekend, I painted using the “new” pink. I’ve already forgotten the name of the new one – but it’s darker than the last. I finished painting the rest of the room after this photo. I just took this one to send to Brennyn at work, so I could get the blessing before finishing the rest of it. Again.

Brennyn always puts art on top of her pot pies (always delish). This past week: a portrait of Taters. …those are arms, not breasts.

Finally – a photo of my new arch-nemesis: crab grass. It’s taken over, and most of our Bermuda is still brown as a biscuit.

  1. Loved the first pink, love the second pink in Tater’s room, too. Great painting job, Picasso Pieper. Also loving the stretched pink nightgown. Talk about form fitting! And love that little tummy you have there, Minky!

If I am not mistaken, there are a few dandelions mixed in with your crab grass…they will bloom and add color and dimension! We are battling the same battle here but surprisingly, our Bermuda is turning green, too.

  2. Forgot to mention the pot-pie art work. That is a new art form, new medium. The portrait of Cady is precious and the pie looks delish. Mmmm, mmm, good!

  3. Your tummy looks so cute, Brenny! That choice of color looks very good, you guys. You are so creative to put little designs on the pot-pie. That never even crossed my mind! Maybe I’ll have to try it now. I can’t wait to meet that precious girl. Tell her I love her!
